Payment Policy
All payments are to be made after you have personally interacted with either Lauren or Jason Lautenschleger. While you can "add to cart" a puppy on this website, no actual purchase can be made before a personal interaction with the owners. Puppies are living beings and need personal care from loving new owners. For that reason, if you are interested in purchasing a puppy please reach out to us.
Deposit holds the puppy until specified pick up date.
Deposits are transferable but non-refundable. Deposit is good until used.
Remainder of purchase price is due upon pick up of puppy, in cash.
The deposit is a two way agreement between buyer and seller. Read a sample of our deposit receipt and agreement here.
Visit Policy
We welcome buyers into our home to pick out a puppy and to pick up their puppy on their pick up date. We like for customers to meet the parents of the puppies, to meet our family, and to personally see where their puppy has been raised.
If you are located too far for a personal visit, we offer video chats. This gives you the opportunity to see the puppies in real time.

J&L Cavaliers Health Policy and Guarantee
J&L Cavaliers puppies will receive their first round of vaccinations and have had a thorough veterinary examination prior to going home. A copy of each puppy’s vaccination record and the Vet’s examination notes are provided to Buyers. Any abnormalities J&L Cavaliers Vet diagnoses are disclosed prior to completion of sale. If Buyer has reserved a puppy by placing a deposit prior to the vet visit and the Vet diagnoses a condition Buyer has the option to transfer that deposit toward another available puppy.
Furthermore, for puppies sold at J&L Cavaliers’ standard pricing, we provide a limited one-year health guarantee against congenital health conditions. To exercise this health guarantee, the Buyer must 1) provide written documentation from their veterinarian of the condition and 2) return the puppy at Buyers expense. We will exchange the returned puppy for another, similar and available puppy. Previously disclosed conditions and discounted puppies are excluded from our health guarantee. J&L Cavaliers standard pricing is $2500 for females and $2000 for males.
